Paul Makridis

Hi,

 

I am an editor, originally from Melbourne, Australia  and now I have stationed  myself here in downtown Bangkok.  I also direct from time to time, I ride a motorcycle  to work and  I love taking lots of photos, I am painfully  fascinated by visual compositions and the story behind them, I always have been,  but primarily, I edit.

 

I enjoy editing almost anything. If you need an editor with a calm demeanor a reassuring manner, solid technical know-how and a strong story telling sensibility with acute brand awareness , I’m  good to go,  at least that’s what my clients keep telling me, just ask any of them. 

 

Oh! And by the way, I really love to cook. 

 

So, these days I  am often accommodating requests to travel locally and abroad, working closely with VFX teams on all kinds of cool projects and to set up wherever i might be required or be convenient. No longer am I refined to a small and dark editing room. It is  something I do relish. 

 

I have been  freelancing  now since  2012 and one of the most rewarding aspects is having the ability to do what I like best, editing and working with  good artists, creatives and friends globally as well as meeting new crew in our line of work. It’s something I appreciate and something I look forward to.

 

I’m always up for a good challenge.
